Medical Doctor and Epidemiologist, TAPHITI-PHARMA CONSULTANCY
Dr. Anniemarie Suma Maumba is a Medical Doctor and Epidemiologist based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and co-founder of TAPHITI-PHARMA. She holds an MSc in Clinical Epidemiology from the University of Antwerp and currently serves as Local Principal Investigator on the HAI-BURN Project at Muhimbili National Hospital. Her work spans infection surveillance, antimicrobial stewardship, and implementation research in low-resource settings. Dr. Maumba brings a unique perspective on how scientific training can open doors beyond conventional clinical practice drawing from her own journey across clinical medicine, academic research, and global health.
