This virtual forum featured keynote panels, interactive breakout sessions, and discussions designed to establish concrete ideas for collaboration for Africa-based initiatives. This event built upon University of Toronto’s strategic framework for deeper engagement with Africa and commitment to advancing emerging African priorities, by bringing together international partners, leaders, faculty, and staff from leading African institutions, associations, and foundations to explore concrete international collaborations and build on the lessons and priorities identified in the last Summit held in 2022

During the virtual Forum, participants: 

  • Established areas of common interest for collaboration 
  • Shared opportunities for collaboration 
  • Explored funding opportunities, and 
  • Explored areas of joint advocacy to facilitate engagements
