Africa is rich with talent, ingenuity, and powerful home-grown health innovations, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) is accelerating what’s possible. Join us this month for a dynamic conversation with Patrick Egbunonu — President & Chief AI Officer at Informanos Analytics & AI, award-winning community builder, and seasoned AI entrepreneur — as he breaks down how African teams are deploying AI in practical, context-driven ways. Drawing on WHO and AU frameworks, Patrick will explore how responsible, locally guided AI can advance equity, governance, and sustainability in healthcare.

What you’ll learn:

  • Real-world African use cases of generative and predictive AI in maternal care, diagnostics, and public health engagement
  • How generative AI can enhance quality of care, strengthen health systems, and workforce capacity
  • Frameworks for responsible, ethical, and equitable AI adoption in African contexts
  • Opportunities for young leaders, researchers, and innovators to engage in Africa’s AI-powered health future
