The demand for palliative care for patients in emergency departments, the Black Lion Hospital, and the wider Ethiopian community has been on the rise. This fellowship program aims to provide specialized training in palliative care, which has become increasingly important, especially with the growing prevalence of non-communicable diseases. The fellowship is scheduled to commence in Toronto in July 2024.
