This new Biological Engineering program will be an interdisciplinary course that specifically trains engineers who will be particularly useful in entering the biomedical field and supporting the emerging biotechnology ecosystem. Graduates will be well poised to advance such an agenda both in private and public organisations, such as hospitals and biotech companies such as Yemaachi Biotech, Roche, Novartis, AstraZeneca, Sanofi, Waters, etc.

In addition, graduates will be well poised to develop start-ups in the biotech space because of the strong entrepreneurial training which is incorporated into the curriculum. Graduates will be biological engineers capable of addressing issues in other fields, such as biotechnology, bioinformatics, and neuro-engineering, in addition to the biomedical space. Our engineers will also have strong entrepreneurial training to support our graduates in establishing new startups  for bringing innovation in these fields.
